Intaglio Print
Intaglio comes from the Italian meaning "under the surface" and refers to any type of plate where ink is forced into incised grooves to create the printed mark.
Copper Plate - each intaglio print is etched into a polished sheet of copper.
Photogravure
a continuous tone process to etch images into copper.
Relief Print
ink rolled onto the high surfaces of a textured plate.
